About FertilityCare Canada

Restorative Reproductive Technology Across Canada: Finding the “Why” Behind Women’s Health

Founded on the belief that women deserve definitive answers about their cycle health, FertilityCare Calgary bridges advanced clinical science, standardized cycle tracking, and restorative reproductive medical technology for women and couples nationwide.

Our Practice Philosophy: Moving Beyond Band-Aid Solutions

For decades, conventional medicine has treated irregular bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, and cycle irregularities by masking symptoms with synthetic birth control. When couples struggle to conceive, they are frequently pushed directly toward invasive assisted reproductive technologies (like IVF or IUI) without anyone investigating why the body is struggling.

At FertilityCare Calgary we take a fundamentally different approach:

  • Root-Cause Investigation:We identify and treat the underlying hormonal, metabolic, and gynecological drivers of subfertility, recurrent loss, PMOS (PCOS), and endometriosis.
  • Listening to the Body:We teach standardized cycle biomarker tracking (The Creighton Model FertilityCare System) so you can translate what your body is saying with precision and confidence.
  • Collaborative Medical Management:We work in close partnership with restorative fertility medical clinicians and specialized gynecologists to optimize hormone health and restorative surgical care.

Leadership & Advisory

Maria Porcellato, BSP ACPR FCP FCPhC

FertilityCare Practitioner and Consultant

Maria Porcellato founded FertilityCare Calgary out of personal and professional conviction. Having navigated complex hormonal health issues firsthand, she recognized a profound gap in conventional women’s healthcare: standard approaches often failed toaddress the root causes of cycle dysfunction.

When Maria received restorative reproductive medical care that restored her natural hormonal balance, her health was transformed. Holding extensive background knowledge in toxicology, pharmacology, and drug mechanisms, she realized that merging rigorous clinical science with natural cycle tracking could give women the definitive answers they deserve.

Maria’s dual certificate training program and membership in the FertiilityCare Centers of America (FCCA) and American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals (AAFCP) has provided the educational foundation for consulting on hormone pathways, bioidentical protocols, and restorative fertility cycle care.

We specialize in standardized Creighton Model charting education, NaProTechnology, and restorative fertility through biomarker evaluation. When medical prescriptions or surgical evaluations are required, we refer you directly to physicians and restorative medical specialists.

Do I need to live in Calgary to work with you?

No. While our physical location originated in Calgary, Alberta, our services are 100% virtual across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.

How is this different from conventional fertility clinics?

Conventional fertility clinics generally focus on artificial reproductive technologies (IVF and IUI) designed to bypass reproductive issues.
